India To Clock Pre-Crisis Growth Next Fiscal: Manmohan

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday told the global leaders that India will revert to its pre-crisis economic growth rate of 9 per cent in the next fiscal. “We grew at 9 per cent in the four years prior to the crisis, but slowed down to 6.7 per cent in the 2008-09,” Dr. Singh said, adding the emerging economies in Asia are now doing well.
